Euribor Rates Today: April 28 Update
2026-04-28
Tuesday, April 28, 2026
Nothing dramatic happened in Euribor land today. Rates are basically flat from last week, which is exactly what the market expected.
1 week: -0.371%
1 month: -0.368%
3 months: -0.318%
6 months: -0.22%
12 months: -0.083%
ECB: 2.15%
What to Watch This Week
No ECB meeting this week, so expect quiet trading. The next big date is the May 7 ECB meeting, which should give us more clarity on the rate path for the rest of Q2.
A few things to keep an eye on:
- Eurozone GDP data due Friday — if growth surprises to the upside, expect Euribor to inch up on rate-hike speculation
- US Fed decision on Wednesday — the Fed doesnt set Euribor, but European rates often follow US leads
- Bond market vibes — German Bund yields have been creeping up, which usually pulls Euribor with it
Mortgage Check
For the €200,000 loan crowd: at current 3-month Euribor + 1.5% margin, youre looking at about €1,050/month. Not great, not terrible. If you locked during the negative rate years, you are still paying more than you were. If you locked during late 2023 when 3-month hit 4%, you are probably feeling relieved.
